My Story

Let's start from the beginning

At 18, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my lifelong passion for dance, which began when I was just three years old. Shortly after arriving, I landed a position as Kanye West’s backup dancer for his 2011 Coachella performance. That moment kicked off an incredible career, where I toured with Kanye, competed on So You Think You Can Dance (making it to the Top 16), and most recently had the honor of being Dolly Parton’s dance double for NBC’s Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas. These experiences taught me the value of collaboration, creativity, and working under pressure; these skills have proven invaluable in my design career.

In 2016, I left Los Angeles behind and returned to my roots in Pittsburgh, PA. There, I discovered a new passion: Real Estate. As a Realtor, I work with clients to gain a deeper understanding of what they seek in a home, ultimately helping them with the biggest purchase of their lives. This career path allowed me to hone my skills in understanding people’s needs, from practical details (like the number of bedrooms) to more profound lifestyle considerations (how they envision their day-to-day lives). Whether negotiating a deal or guiding a client through the home-buying process, I learned the importance of listening, empathizing, and coming up with tailored solutions—traits that have translated seamlessly into my design work.

When I transitioned into graphic design, I thought I was starting from scratch. But soon, I realized how much of my past would be an asset to me in this field. From dance, I brought a deep understanding of collaboration and creativity under pressure. From real estate, I developed an eye for user-centered solutions and the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously, whether as a negotiator, marketer, or educator. Each of these experiences has been integral in shaping my approach to design.

As a graphic designer, I’m passionate about creating user-centric experiences that communicate clear, impactful messages. Whether designing a brand identity, website, or app, my goal is always the same: to craft solutions that look great and make life easier for the end user. With a strong foundation in design principles, empathy, and collaboration, I’m excited to enter the design field full force! I’m open to exploring any opportunities that align with my skills and passion.
